Luxury chalet with sweeping mountain views
Azalea Lodge is a luxury four-bedroom chalet sleeping up to eight guests, with panoramic views across the valley and an easy walk to the village, restaurants and onsens. Sparena, with its onsens, gym and restaurant, is right next door.
Fully renovated in 2025, the lodge combines original exposed timber beams with walnut floors, original artwork and beautifully finished interiors. Underfloor heating, rainfall showers and pellet stoves make it especially comfortable after a day on the mountain.
The house has a spacious dining kitchen and a separate lounge, giving families and groups plenty of room to spread out. The connecting slope to the Karasawa lifts is just 50 metres away, Nagasaka Gondola is around six minutes on foot, and the centre of the village is an easy walk.

Check-in is from 3:00pm. Check-out is by 11:00am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request — please contact our concierge team in advance.
Azalea Lodge welcomes guests aged six and over. Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Pets are not permitted. Housekeeping services may be arranged during your stay at an additional cost. Guests are responsible for any loss or damage incurred during their stay.
To confirm your reservation, a 10% deposit is required at the time of booking. A further 20% is due 180 days prior to arrival. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to arrival.
All payments are non-refundable. Should cancelled dates be successfully rebooked, payments may be refunded less any associated costs. Payment reminders will be sent prior to each scheduled due date.
A refundable security deposit of ¥30,000 is required prior to arrival. This deposit is held against any damage or excessive cleaning that may arise during your stay. Following departure and inspection of the property, the deposit will be returned promptly provided no issues are identified.
