13人の公衆ソトユ
The 13 public onsens are scattered throughout the village. They are simple, traditional bathhouses and part of everyday life in Nozawa. They are maintained through the local Yunakama system, a long-standing tradition through which neighbourhood residents help look after the baths.
Many locals still visit in the evening after work or skiing. When entering, remember that you are stepping into a shared community space rather than a commercial spa.
You will see donation boxes at the entrance. The baths do not operate like ticketed facilities, and contributions help support their upkeep.
入る前に十分に手を洗ってください
入浴前に、洗面台のいずれかに座って全身をきれいに洗ってください。石鹸はすべて洗い流してください。浴槽は入浴専用です。
水着は着用しません。タオルは浴槽の水に浸からないようにします。ほとんどの人は小さなタオルを折りたたんで、浴槽の横か頭にかぶせます。
知っておくと良い
Bring a small towel for washing and a larger towel for drying afterwards. The traditional sotoyu are simple community bathhouses rather than commercial spa facilities, so it is best to come prepared.
You will also see donation boxes at the entrance. The 13 sotoyu are free to use, and these contributions help support their upkeep. A small donation is appreciated.
野沢温泉のタトゥー
日本の多くの温泉地とは異なり、野沢温泉では現在、タトゥーは一般的に受け入れられている。この村は古くから外国人観光客を歓迎しており、人々の意識も変化してきた。
温泉は今もなお、あらゆる年齢層の地元住民に毎日利用されています。見た目よりも行動が大切です。静かに動き、声を抑え、共有空間であることを尊重しましょう。
水温と入浴スタイル
野沢温泉の鉱泉は天然の高温で、42℃から45℃の間であることが多いです。ゆっくりと湯船に入り、体を慣らしましょう。入浴は静かでゆったりとした雰囲気で行われます。湯船に浸かり、一度湯船から出て体を冷やし、再び湯船に戻るのが一般的です。
有料温泉施設
In addition to Nozawa Onsen’s 13 public bathhouses, the village has two larger paid facilities: Furusato no Yu and SpaRena.
Furusato no Yu has indoor hot and warm baths as well as an outdoor bath. Admission is currently ¥700 for adults and ¥500 for children.
SpaRena is a larger onsen complex with indoor and open-air baths, saunas, relaxation areas and a restaurant. It also has a swimsuit area and, during the summer months, an outdoor pool. Admission is currently ¥900 for adults and ¥700 for children.
Both have showers and changing facilities, and the water temperature is regulated, making them a good alternative for anyone who finds the traditional public baths a little too hot. Children aged two and under are free at both facilities. Prices may be subject to change.
